The first Infinity models for 2014 are now out!

As a Combined Army player, I of course like the Gwailos with Heavy Rocket Launcher (HRL) the most of this months releases. This is a model that I really wanted to use for a while. I plan to put two within a link team headed by agent Cadmus-Naish Sheskiin. As part of the link team the Gwailos with HRL will have a burst of 3, but inflicts blast and fire damage! This is perfect for burning off ODD and TO, which Shasvastii (who do not have access to MSV’s) struggle to deal with.

The two box sets released this month, the Sekban and Scots Guards, are really top quality. Both sets will be a boon to their respective armies. In fact the Scots Guards with two Submachine Guns is so cool I want to have the model, even though I do not play Ariadna!

The Raiden Seibutai is an impressive model, which really adds to the JSA force. With limited camo and x-visor and a spitfire, this model can actual keep it’s distance whilst striking the opponent down. The Raiden Seibutai also has an armour of 3, which means it will be tough to take down, even once it’s camo has been used!

I think the Ekdromoi with HMG is an improvement of the older model with a combi-rifle, as the helmet looks more Greek (i.e like a Greek hoplite). The Ekdromoi has excellent mobility (4-4 move and combat jump) and physical attribute, which helps a lot when landing! Combine this with a HMG and you have a very formidable drop troop!
